Making the World Human Again is the eye-opening first book from innovative thinker Alex McManus. His premise is simple: contrary to popular opinion, Jesus Christ came neither to teach Christianity nor to establish a religion. He came to make the world human again.

  • @fxtrader92 You're right. It's so sad how many people are falling for these New Age beliefs that are not Scriptural. He is very deceptive in his wording. People can very easily fall into this trap, especially youth. Jesus of course is the only way! Even for Muslims. He came to save us from sin which keeps humanity captive. Not to make us human again. Maybe he meant humane. :) And that's only through the love of Jesus Christ.

  • Jesus Christ came to save the world from the bodage of sin. He is the leader of the church. He is our Head, the one we look to for everything we need in life. Christianity means to be Christ-like, to have, to express the attributes of Christ. "Narrow is the path that leeds to Him", not broad as Mcman. implies. He is the only way to heaven!

  • "Jesus Christ is not the leader of the church. He's actually the leader of the world." This is a stunning statement since the bible says that Satan is the leader of the world. Guess we know what McManus means when he uses the name Jesus and it isn't the Jesus you learned about in Sunday school.

This man is a heretic. "Jesus Christ came to make us all human again." Where in scripture does it even remotely imply that!!!! Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins!

  • Alex - I met you many years ago at FBC/O. I am very excited hearing about what you are doing these days. Praise God for your boldness in Christ and leading many others to have a huge passion for the most important.

  • Kudos, Alex. Looking forward to the book itself. I expect I'll have some questions for you after reading the whole thing... will you have a website just for that book, or a Voxtropolis site to discuss the issues you'll be raising?

We miss you here on the west coast!
