Orengo turns heat on Rono and Wekesa

Cabinet Minister James Orengo says the two witnesses who admitted that they were influenced to give false evidence about the post election violence to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR should be prosecuted and charged with perjury and obstruction of justice.

I've seen several instances where Kenyan reporters get cost figures way off the mark, and this looks like one of those instances. Surely, those apartments can't be going for Ksh 120,000-150,000. A cursory look at them and assuming they are located in an upscale neighborhood, I'll appraise the rent to be no more than Ksh 50,000. However, the more pressing question is: who is paying for them? If it's tax payers then the government has some explaining to do with regard to the over-the-top cost.
