Loved this show as a kid. Now realize how weird it was to watch a post-apocalyptic show while eating cereal on Saturday mornings.
Is it me or does the blonde guy look like he should in the band ABBA? I always thought it was weird that they had a monkey on the team. I mean, the scientists trained the monkey to do ... what??

I remember this show. I loved it. I wish they'd make more like these, but it's a lost art.

I think you are off. I think the show was designed to scare people into believing that earth was on the brink of disaster, aka the crying Indian commercial. So called scientists were predicting widespread hunger by year 2000 because of overpopulation, including Carl Sagan. I believe the religion part was just to add dramatic symbology with something most folks could identify with but it didn't really make sense because those Biblical figures did not live in the time of the ark.

Any time someone discusses fixing things they're a stupid liberal.

The monkey was just as stupid as the liberal show was.
