Micro Exo Flora deals with various types of real and phantasmagoric plants, some resembling microscopic stems, others very long and extremely rapid-growing, enveloping everything in sight. Other ideas are also present, such as seeds cracking as shoots burst out, and contrasting speeds of vibration creating one unified organism, where the intricate pulsational variety can be reduced into a binary system of faster/slower, or very loud/very soft. Imagine being aware of the flora on the planet Earth in its baffling variety, then zooming out and observing the planet from orbit, suddenly realizing the essential binary nature of most plant life cycles. As the Exo portion of the title suggests, a lot of the flora in this piece is from another world.
