These things are cool but expensive and hard to master. I've had much more succcess using the Cam Caddie SCorpion, it was fairly inexpensive and all my shots look so much better.

Great way to get a moving shot of something close to the ground without having to crawl. Course, I suppose the idea of flipping the upsidedown image while editing doesn't make sense to some people...

This thing is NOT that hard to balance. Get the Glidecam HD version. VERY SIMPLE. 3 STEPS:
Get the drop time right by adding weights and lowering the shaft.
Correct the foward and back by turning the screw
correct side to side by turning a screw..... DONE!
Did mine for the first time in literally 10 minutes..
Now flying it is a different story.
