  • Can u use a iPhone with these?

  • @mikeyh32 While it is possible to use these with an iPhone, I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. The ¼” jack would need an adapter for the 3.5mm jack on the iPhone and the high impedance (300 Ohms) would not produce much volume when connected to any portable audio device. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

  • @crutchfieldtv Well, I was able to try a pair of these with my iPhone and was actually surprised when they worked pretty well. Now, I had to crank the volume to full on the phone to get a decent level out of the headphones, but it worked nonetheless. I'm not suggesting you purchase a $1500 pair of headphones for your iPhone, but if you want high quality headphones for you home audio system AND the option of using them with an iPhone, they do work.HTH!--Crutchfield

  • @Destroysall With electronic music they are absolutely fabulous because of the lightning fast speed of the driver and the detail it reproduces. With metal and rock they sound good of course but a bit distant sounding. There are other high-end headphones out there with a more intimate sound better suited for rock.

  • How do the HD 800s do with Metal, Rock, and Electronic music?

  • @mikeyh32 no even if you bought a quarter inch to 3.5 mm jack (what iPhones use) a iPhone couldn't possibly give out enough power to run theses things they pretty much need a amplifier to run them also i might add they coast $1,799.95

  • My conclusion iphone/pod users are idiots>.< ITS 300Ohms

  • Is this video new? Because these are no longer brand new and do no longer possess the biggest driver. Love them though, awesome precise sound..
