The cars have the right of way. You should always stand with your view against the direction of travel to be able to yield to incoming and leaving cars.
And to make things worse, these cars are from 0-60kph speedlimit in no time. They start the engine with clutch pressed and 1st already engaged and simply pop the clutch with lot's of gas as soon as they think the engine is running.
They make no prisoners in pitlane

Yikes! Is it expected that crew members will just get out of the way of incoming cars (i.e. the 48 car situation at the beginning.)?
