Turn ANY Display Into A Touchscreen for LESS than $4

Why pay a few thousand bucks for a white board or a touch-screen when you can have a HUGE surface you can touch for less than $4? good deal? yup.

NOTE: The wiimote hack was from Johnny Lee and his hack vids. I'm just expanding on it with more details.


What you will need:
-Wiimote (you should have 1)-$45
-Bluetooth receiver- $2
-Infrared led pen (make it yourself)- about $1-2

@AutoPyramis Considering all the likes, how would it be fake? Besides (I admit it) I was using a toaster to record this. What makes you think I would try to edit this video will the shaking? The technology is readily available (and in use in this video). A wii mote has an IR receiver and I have an IR Pen. Wow I call that magic.

Hey, heres a cool idea I just thought about, why dont you make the pen so that when you push down on the led, pressing it against the screen, it turns it on, instead of always clicking the same button all the time, your fingers would be soar after a while, just an idea :P In other words, the buttong would be the led.

dumb your so dumb who ever made this video. You say you are making a touch screen which you are not making because you are not touching your screen with your finger are you. No your not your clicking some stupid pen and the camera see the light. Name your video the right name this should be named cheap interactive monitor instead of touch screen.

@zasthrax Thats a good idea. But consider all the scratches that would cause on your screen. Remember that in this video, I am lightly pressing the screen (or in some cases: not even touching the screen)

I have a wireless sensor bar with my wii remote, so are there any programs for doing something like allowing me to connect the sensor bar to use the wii remote as a pointer? im sure it would be awful to aim at links and such, but it would be neat
