December 1996, Westbeth Theater in NYC. I was lucky enough to see Juliana perform a lot from the "new album coming out in the Spring" songs and Perfection really stood out, so much so that the crowd really quieted down as the song progressed, then when it ended we applauded in earnest. I had a bootleg of that show too and you heard a lot of people shouting how great it was. It's a travesty that commerce snubs art. God's Foot deserves to be released.

"God's Foot" is one of Juliana Hatfield's best albums, and this is the best song on it.
