An excerpt from the film Uganda Rising showing in a (very!) brief overview the utter decimation of Africa that took place via colonialism and the so-called "Scramble For Africa."
Despite the film's focus on Uganda, I think this excerpt sheds light on just how much of the violence that we see today actually has a colonial/European precedent rooted in exploitation and racism.
It's also an instructive lead in, I think, to Darfur in 10 Minutes: An Overview of the Conflict in Sudan.
Uganda Rising was produced by Alison Lawton.
It was directed by Jesse James Miller and Pete McCormack (me). Jesse also edited the film, and I wrote it.

@UnitedKorean Don't worry because we've been fighting slowly but surely. Our African consciousness is waking up. The western white consciousness program is being seen for what it is verse our survival and interest. The paradigm shift is coming on the planet. We where never weak. We just very spiritual and humane people to pretty much everybody we came in contact with in the past 2000. That has been a greatest strength but also our greatest weakness.

European colonial bastards taking advantage of Africans and Asians. This is wrong, but inevitable in history. The powerful will tremple over the weak always. This is why you Africans must stand up and fight for yourselves lest the history repeats itself.

very good...it is important for black africans to understand this and work to make life better. Value life and the future of their children. The crimes against Africa are unreal, yet all too real.
