The game was played at an earlier start time than usual. Game was also on a Sunday as opposed to LA's Saturday night usual scheduled matches.

when the guy says long time rivals, i think he meant, Rivals a long time ago. Like when the league first began. I've been a Galaxy fan since 2004, and i don't consider DC a rival. That said, when the league began, LA vs DC was always a finals match up.

As a whole, American sports fans far outshine those of other countries in both fanaticism and blatant drunkenness.

Not all fans in the MLS suck guys. I watch every game, I've been to almost every home game and I even go to the academy and reserve games. People in America just don't like soccer much. That doesn't mean our soccer sucks. Sure, it isn't as good as Spanish or British, but it doesn't mean it sucks. A lot of Americans are bandwagon fans, they like a team when they win, but when they start losing, all the bandwagon fans follow the team that's winning. That's just the way it is.
