Gothic & Lolita event Amsterdam

The launch of the book Gothic & Lolita by Japanese photographer Masayuki Yoshinaga on June 23rd, 2007 on Spui square in Amsterdam. Individuals of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute held a workshop with live models that could be dressed-up gothic lolita style by anybody creative. MFahsion (the first gothic lolita store in Europe) had drummed up a few of the 100 gothic lolitas living in The Netherlands. Publisher Phaidon Press and bookstore The American Book Center (located at 't Spui) provided the books.
The event was covered by a lot of press as well as many instant photographers that were impressed by the flamboyant Victorian street fashion of the girls and the one boy.
