  • Where can I order these?

  • @fladoodel wwwDOTdickblickDOTcom

  • It is also worth mentioning that the labels will fade with increased use.

Hope that my input helps! Maybe I should have just created a response video. Oh well.

  • I've tried both (in store, scribbling) and Copics have a softer nib. Copic has 346 different colors while Shinhan has 168. Copics are pretty expensive though ($7CAD for Sketch, $5 for Ciao) and buying refills is like buying a new marker every time. Shinhans are definitely cheaper (they sell at my local art store for $3CAD). There's really not much of a striking difference between the two, and you could probably do well with the Shinhans.

  • ShinHan also offers a colorless blender just like Copics. Also, The touch also come in brush tips (they're the white markers). Those blend better.

  • LOL, Youtube thinks I'm a spam bot. I had to fill in a captcha before I was allowed to post my last comment.

I'll touch a bit on Letraset Promarkers. I never owned them, but I've tested them out before. They blend pretty well, but again, these are not as nice as Copics. I also have an issue with the labeling system. Rather than etching the labels like most of the other markers do, they have sticker labels. Like the old Touch markers, this will be a problem over time. Cont. in next comment.

  • The fact that the Touch markers are non refillable alone means that in the end, they will end up costing you more money. Copics are really worth the investment. Plus, if you buy up the whole set, or at least get yourself a lot of markers, it means your markers will run out less because you're probably not going to use the exact same colors in every image.

Also worth noting that Copic markers are Japanese made, while Touch makers are made in Korea.

    Cont. in next comment.
