@Jewgirl613 Rivka,the unfortunate problem seems to be you didn't read the purity sections in Sefer Vayikra from the Hebrew original or from a good translation (I propose Everett Fox's "5 Books of Moses") sans Mefarshim. Only then you can find out youre not making sense in assertiing that avoiding contact with other females isn't required. 2ndly, the rule of prohibiting ejaculation is a distortion of Onan's story that flies in the face of the Text's plain meaning. The Torah doesn't prohibit it.

@Jewgirl613 Rivka, if you want to keep the Shomer Negiah that's your prerogative, but just don't claim Elohim commanded you to do it since that's at variance with the facts. The fact of the matter is that rabbis commanded their followers to do it.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt you were misled by your rabbis who lied to you and you weren't lying here. Just know that lying is a sin nonetheless and we must be accurate when we explain who commanded us to do something.
