This is Windows 7 vLited and modded edition running on an EeePC 901 Linux (1.6Ghz Intel Atom, 2GB DDR 667 RAM @ 533, 4GB Stock SLC, 16GB Stock MLC).

  • By the way, i've followed your tutorial about Vlite, but my Windows 7 is taking more than 5 gb installed. The iso is about 1.2-1.3 gb. Do you have any ideas?

  • most likely it's your hibernate file (hiberfil.sys) in your installation drive's root, and/or the pagefile (pagefile.sys) in the drive's root as well.

  • I've heard that there will be a special version of Windows 7 for notebooks!

    The first thing that should be disabled on PC's with low hdd capacity is hibernation and system restore!
