@harvey1954 I don't mean Larry Evoy drummed for the Spoonful. People were writing about singing drummers like Joe Butler and :Levon Helm. I mentioned that Larry Evoy was another singing drummer. In his case he also wrote the songs for his band which was Edward Bear.

@DougStoneent What are you talking about? You're saying John Sebastian and Steve Boone never wrote any of their stuff? I know Sebastian did some of the drumming on Summer In the City, but Joe Butler did most of the drum work. What does Larry Evoy have to do with this band. Edward Bear as later in the decades.
