60s and 70s the best period of music this country has known in my humble opinion ,every band was original now I know I getting old but until the bay city rollers came on the scene it was a party.70s sweet trex bowie slade what a time now we have boy bands and talent programmes love them or hate them the sweet and the rest were the real mccoy

Glam was destroyed by 80s hair metal band 'poison' few others ruined glam completely. People hardly call glam referring to sid barret, Trex, Bowie, Sweet, later 70s Angel of course. I think sid barret invented glam and punk although I doubt he knew anything of it, even if he did , wasn't important enough to him.. im laughin ha

I think that whole era rules. Not necessary one genre over the other, but that time period when music really reached out and touched you.

I'm hearing the stamping of hundreds of platform boots in the background. Memories!
