The setting and location for the ITV smash-hot comedy drama Benidorm starring Johnny Vegas, the hotel Sol Pelicanos Ocas in Benidorm has become even more popular since the showing of Benidorm on ITV1 in 2007.

Anyone can go stay at the Sol Pelicanos but be warned that the pool area is swarming with tourists taking photos and videos.

In the show the hotel is given the fictional name the Solana and provides the setting for some great comedy. I believe they do (a small section) but not all because it is a real working hotel so they can't do that.
