In Saturday's Almaden Suns playoff game, Andy was called for a charge on this play. Judge for yourself.

  • is that at yerba buena h school?

  • Horrible officiating: It's not just for the NBA anymore. That's how you teach kids a valuable lesson about getting screwed by incompetent authority figures, one which will serve them VERY well when they get their first corporate job.

  • weak call!! Sticking your arm out like that is for balance and helping you change direction, it in no way hindered the defensive player. These refs have no one to answer to when they make mistakes, that is the problem

  • Ummmmmmmmm, they are 10-year-olds. That means they refs aren't too good to begin with. Whoop-itti-doo.

  • Not a charge at all. That ref is an idiot. The defensive player must set both of his feet.

All I can think of is that the ref didn't like Andy's use of the armbar, where it looks like he sort of pushes the other kid... but he didn't call that now, did he?

Oh well, sometimes calls don't go your way.

  • Not a charge, for sure. It was a sorta hand check, but no call should have been made. Guess they don't want the kids to learn to play basketball the right way....
