  • i have the original lp vinyl of this show from 1973 with all the words and pics on the record sleeves

i must say you ar leading people to belive this is connected to elvis when in realty it is not and i have to admit it sounds exactly the same as my record does so im not convinced it is someone else either so can you tell us what software you used to delete elvise's voice and overwrite with someone else's voice then as i have not found any software capable of that yet

  • I am truly amazed at how many people have a hard time believing this IS Doug Church! I am sure Mr. Church would be equally amazed and honored. I will be happy to send you a copy of the Golden Voice track he used to sing this song in his concerts and to make the CD fron which I took this recording to put over the video. There is no miracle to this nor any trickery involved, this is the vocal talent of the VOICE OF ELVIS, Doug Church and the incredible musical talents of the people at Golden Voice

  • I am going to post this, hopefully once and for all, to all those who do not believe (or choose not to) that the vocals are indeed Doug Church. I took the audio from one of his CDs I purchased and tagged it on this video to prove a point: that Mr. Church has the CLOSEST voice to that of Elvis of all those in the ETA business! Mr. Church had no part in the making of this video (although he has expressed a certain "discomfort" with it through email).

  • It was created simply as a pure example of the FACT that no in the industry has the ability, as does Doug Church, to mimick, almost flawlessly, the beautiful singing voice of the greatest entertainer of our time. So, please, I implore you all to understand that this was not done out of disrespect for Elvis, nor to make Doug Church seem grandiose, but to demonstrate that he stands alone, atop all the other ETAs as the One and only TRUE Voice of Elvis!

  • All you have to do is LISTEN to Elvis' version and then LISTEN to this version. It is definitely NOT Elvis. What it is, is the most incredible E T version that I have ever heard. I've watched a lot of Elvis Tribute artist in my day, and Doug Church is by far the BEST that I have ever heard. Again LISTEN CLOSELY you'll hear the difference.

  • I agree if youlisten closely that is not Elvis, especially the top notes at the end. He is very good but you can't replace the King!

  • oh wow Elvis is crazy! And i like him that way. :D

  • 90 likes have an identity problem, this whole Elvis impersonation shit is pathetic and sad.

  • I spent a lot of time working with this song and now perform it regularly. I know each and every tiny nuance in the vocal. Elvis this ain't, but it sure as hell not bad.The give-away is in the big finish, the voice becomes quite "Toppy", whereas Elvis stayed rich, strong and pure. Great performance Mr. Church, I'm impressed and I'm in the the trade!! lol

  • I totally believe it is Doug Church. Doug Sounds fine on this mix, but anyone with an ear for Elvis' voice can tell within 2 seconds that the vocal starting that this is not the Voice of Elvis Presley.

  • this is elvis. i aint even kiddin. an ya'll kno it is

  • I have listened to Elvis growing up i know his voice when i here it this is not Elvis singing but very good impersonation to Elvis i have herd yet very good job to you Doug..

  • My father was watching this and I heard from another room. I asked him who was singing, because I knew it wasn't Elvis. I listen to him practically since I was born. I agree it is the closest voice, but not that much how Sonny West described it. That's his opinion. I don't care about impersonators, anyway. I respect some of them, but it's just it. I have the real Elvis to listen to, after all.

  • The epitome of awesomeness! WoW! Doug is the next best thing to Elvis himself. Sounds just like Elvis AND can hit every note flawlessly. Thanks for posting!

  • To the 19 dislikes I suggest you go and get your ears unblocked, This is prob the best rendition you will pron ever hear...........SO APPRECIATE IT..............
