God put Man in Control

It is often assumed that God, the creator of the earth is also the one who controls every event that does and does not take place upon the earth. However, according to scripture, such a notion is untrue.

If God's giving dominion to Adam was conditional and He (God) retained the true authority over man and earth then when Adam sinned sin would not have entered the earth and Satan would not have been given the authority over the earth. You can only get authority from the one who has it. Luke 4 clearly says that Satan had authority because it was delivered to him, Adam gave it up not God. If God controlls everything then my statements here are totally and completely God's will for all to read!

I do not believe God controls everything which according to your beliefs means God has chosen for me to not believe the word sovereign means "IN CONTROL". it doesn't. You also need to take the time to study 2 thessalonians 1:5-10.

OK,as of late I have been delivered from the "hellfire/eternal torture chamber" false doctrine, I have adopted the Universal Salvation theology and am on the edge exploring Preterism, having said all this, I dont not bear witness to this video. I do not believe in mans "choice" or "freewill" & I believe that God is in COMPLETE CONTROL & is Sovereign ....COMPLETELY... so yeah, this spoke nothing to me.

You are saying God just sits back and watches from up above? He is not Really involved in anything we do, or anything that happens? The bible says that every detail is a part of the all comprehensive divine decree. God controls both inanimate and animate and everything that comes to pass is His will. Everything is necessary. c.f. Isaiah 46, especially verse ten, Ephesians 1.11, 1 Chronicles 29.12, etc., and Augustus Toplady, Observations on the Divine Attributes. El Elyon is in control.

Man has authority over things like animals and trees - we can influence our environment and use it for our benefit. That's pretty much it though.

This doesn't mean that God is hands off - if He were hands off the electron wouldn't orbit the nucleus of the atom.

Yes. man has dominion over the animals and Earth just as God has dominion over humans as well as all things on Earth. You're really stretching to try to say that man's will is sovereign over God's will simply because God told man that he has dominion over the Earth. Better come up with something better than that if you want to try to convince people who know scripture.
