This is last night's guitar improvisation. When I
improvise on guitar I tend to go back to my Pomeroon River, Guyana, roots.

  • OK I've learned a great deal here. Absolutely beautiful music. I have bean playing guitar for 20+ yrs and never thought of using a capo. While playing my nylon string and video surfing for inspiration, I ran across you video.

How do I get that sound, I thought, capo?

There was a bic lighter in front of me and on the door knob was a big blue rubber band from broccoli

  • Thanks for your comment!. As far as the sound of my guitar

here goes...I don't think it has anything to do with the use of

the capo. All I can think of...is it's an old guitar...and sometimes old guitars have a special sound. Also...I keep this guitar ...usually...tuned at 3 semi-tones below concert. I've found that this helps with the bending of notes...or ease

of playing. Hope this helps. Peace. P.S. There's a bit of

    reverb added here.

  • Improvising on this guitar the other night...I was reminded

why the only reason this guitar has the capo on the second fret...in this video...Is that this guitar...is simply harder to play

without the capo on. Some guitars are like that. Peace.
