TABOOLA RASA on HTV

Taboola Rasa made the headlines jazz-dance club circuit in the West Country during the late eighties. Led by bassist Marius Frank, they went on to release an album, and close the Bath International Festival in 1989. The lineup had a hard core of Marius on bass, Geoff Croft on keyboards, Alan Walker on saxophone, Steve Robshaw on guitar and keys and Trevor Francis on percussion. James Ryan was the original drummer, followed by Stefan Manfredi. The electro-vibes and percussion wizard Henry Shaftoe was also a founder member, and luminaries such as Andrew Hague and even Andy Sheppard would often join them for a high class jam.
