Doc Pawsitive Loves a Ballpark Frank!

Ballpark Frank, or Parker for short, is a young minature dachschund with a tail injury affecting his anal tone, as well as bowel and bladder control. He possibly may have been a "breech delivery", which means born backwards rump first and gotten stuck in the birth canal. Often times with a breech delivery people will grab onto whatever is available to pull the puppy out and in this case it appears Parker may have sustained some damage to his tail, rump and rectal area. This puppy could not be sold "as is" so the previous owners gave Doc Pawsitive, Clair Thompson, "Leader of the Pack" at East Stroudsburg Veterinary Hospital and PAWS/Pocono Animal Wellness Services this puppy to see if the problem has a solution. Parker is scheduled to start regular massage therapy compliments of DogStarEnergy Center and Vyolet Albano. He has also been offered complimentary acupuncture therapy by Dr Karin Breitlauch of Creature Comforts Veterinary Services. We'll keep trying with this little guy and regular updates will be posted.
