  • music theory is killing me i want to start somehow but where? Help!

  • @iamgreyhound Try books. Those are good.

  • Hi Mr. Pebber. Just wanted to tell you thanks so much for your free online lessons. What you have done is so generous and probably one of the greatest resources in the world for guitar students! Your teaching methods are fantastic and it's so apparent that you really care about teaching others and love music. I can see why many greats chose you as their teacher. Thanks man. I

  • Why?

  • G minor scales dont have a very ROCK AND ROLL sound. Think GENRE.

  • @waru93 if you can do this after 3 months of playing with your eyes closed why don't you post a vid to prove your not full of shit.

  • i can do this with my eyes closed after 3 months of playing guitar....:P no joke

  • @iamgreyhound My playing only improved when I could hear what I was playing. I recommend you take a relative pitch course Burge's is the best - it is great for intuitive players and you do learn theory as well but it focuses on improving your brain's ability to hear and understand intervals!

  • thanks so much for the amazing lessons can you cover ear-traning too?

  • Wow, if you dropped that mug you could probably flood a small town.

  • I appreciate your lessons Pebber, I had this gig last week where I definitely saw an improvement in my playing and at our rehearsal last night. My hands feel more relaxed but controlled and this lets me concentrate more on "feelings" 'cause I don't have to concentrate on keeping my playing clean. Now I understand that all these simple exercises add up in the end. Thanks again Pebber for motivating me.

  • damn!!! i want that tea cup!!!
