  • In what city in what state are there rattlers crawling around on neighborhood streets?

  • @mudhens4ever

It's pretty common in the South West

  • You found it when you were househunting? Isn't that a sign of some sort? Something like a crackhouse next door?

  • Yeah, we didn't end up moving, so ... I guess it was a sign.

  • anyone who thinks thats a rattler should just move away to the moon cuz even red necks in the middle of no where are smart enough to know that rattle snakes have RATTLERS. MY 3 YEAR OLD SISTER CAN IDENTIFY A RATTLE SNAKE... you idiots probably killed the poor harmless rodant eating snake.. god this pisses me off. dont try to be heros just call animal control

  • wow, did you even watch this video?

  • lol, funny video. I'm just glad no tried to kill or hurt the snake. Respect your wildlife : )

  • What city is this??

  • @lilaisawesome Watched it long enough to see that it's not a Rattlesnake. It's missing a key component, namely, rattles.

  • thats a San Diego gopher i used to raise them

  • @johnny66o1 you sir are the idiot... your telling me that if your family was in danger due to your so called harmless snake you wouldn't kill it..... you must be a democrat..... go be a liberal fuck somewhere else please

  • pituophis not crotalus totally harmless. If it was a crotalus in the region you said, you would have the market cornered on dumb because it would be a mojave (scutlatus). Mojaves have some of the most toxic venom amongst the crotalus subspecies. Almost as bad as the neotropical crotalus. If you can't identify the animal, I would leave it alone and call someone who knows what they are doing.

  • not a rattler. And if it was, your behavior is how people get bit.

  • he did the "James Brown"

  • @Keithattal5 You mean the act of tapping the tail against the ground common among snakes such as this, and even seen among members of the equally venomous but rattle-lacking Agkistrodon genus? Mimicry. That's all that is.

  • @kltequila The nominate species, the timber rattler, has stripes rather than diamonds. The Quereteran dusky rattler sometimes has diamonds and sometimes just spots. Same with the Pacific and prairie rattlers. Then there's the Mexican west coast rattler, which is solid in color.
