His dvd commatries are good to listen to. You really feel like you're learning unlike Micheal Bay who sounds like a jerk too impressed with himself and why no one can see his genius.

Creating a convincing universe is good, then you have to make it interesting while staying trueto the universe you've created. Much harder, but if you do it well, it propels your film to art instead of fodder.
