  • cool thanks for telling me this what price would you say would be a for a used gun and on top of that does the life time warranty go towards buying a used one our only when you buy it right from taurus?

  • @irishmobster60 i believe as long as u have the warranty information u should be able to keep the lifetime warranty the only trick to the warranty is the shipping i bought mine new, the place i got it gave me a lifetime warrenty for 25 bucks witch is less then ur gunna pay for shipping but it should still be under warranty if its used.

  • How much did you pay for this gun?

  • @Mr291229 i paid around 400 for it but its worth every penny. i have shot thousands of rounds through it and never had a problem

  • i got me a stainless 66 on the way. i was wondering about shooting 38 special +P through this little sweet heart. or should i stick to a standard 38 round? i wouldnt think it would wear it to much due to the fact that it shoots a magnum 357. but its not a +P barrel. i see you have put some rounds through it!

    THANKS.

  • @kcdub100 i havew shot the +p out of it and they dont seem to much different then the regular 38 specials. i havent had any problem shooting them out of it.

  • I have a Taurus .357 but it's not in the full underlugged barrel as yours and those I've seen on other videos. Mine has the tappered barrel/shrouded ejector design which must be the style of earlier models.Do any of you reloaders know whether or not you need gas checks on your bullets? Also someone, allegedly a gun know-it-all in a store recommended that I don't use .357 in my 'carry gun' but stick to .38 for the bulk of my practice rounds(?). I don't really get that!

  • @kcdub100 The Taurus manual for revolvers says DO NOT shoot .38 special +P in the .357 Magnum. You can shoot it in their revolvers that are specifically designated as .38 special, but not in the Model 66. It's OK to use normal-pressure .38 special in the 66.

  • I recently found a used Taurus 66 at a local store. I stuck it on layaway. This will be my 6th Taurus and looking at a 7th.

  • See, That what I want to hear on a review. The weapon should hold up to 10,000+ rounds without a hitch. Well Done

  • Sounds like Seth Rogan....

  • @eagleeye4450 when did you buy your gun i bought mine in 2007 new and it came with an lifetime repair policy which I've used, free of charge, force feed cone cracked crazy, replaced barrel it just took six months for my gun to come back, unfortunately my gun was a lemon and has been set aside for repair again. But I still love this gun the 66b6 is the shit Its "the gun you dont have to use" pointing it's good enough

  • Hi is this a 4" or 6" ?

  • I just bought one one of these in like new condition for $295 and couldnt more out of a gun if I paid top dollar, this is and excellent gun fr the price!
