@flamweffer I hope we can find a way to restore or atleast protect it. If I were there I would construct plaques throughout the place with details to what was done there, its importance, and who served there. I would need the help pf those who sevred there ofcourse. Unfortunately I live in the U.S for now. Maybe someone who lives there can help? I may see if there is an organization that can help out.

@tsisqua Wow, you worked there? I've been there just lately, astounded of the size of this place. I felt like I could breathe the history, it's a pity there's (naturally) so less information of this to find. I imagined how it was to work there. Amazing place, still so lively but yet so run down...

Yes, I was in the US Army and had my little spot in there. We were often short-handed and many times one person would need to do the work of several. Long hours, and few breaks, but I was so fortunate to have met and lived with the German people. Berlin was a treasure!

I worked in that facility in 1979-80. Thanks for uploading the video. Some real memories there, and a strange feeling to see it in its current condition.
