Marklin in Utah - 2008 Part I

Marklin M track layout under construction. This layout is being constructed with Marklin M track and analog signals and controllers. The layout will operate 3 trains automatically. I will use this layout at train shows.

In 1974 we attended a model train show. There were dozens of train clubs with so many different layouts of all gauges. My wife and I went from layout to layout and not one of them could run a train. Each one had technical problems. There was one model railroad running like a clock. It was a Marklin HO with M track. As the train would approach a switch, the switch would automatically move to the opposite track. So cool! The owner had gone off to lunch and it was unattended!
