This is a studio cover of Rolling Stones' "The Last Time", a song which came out as a single in 1965 and that I really love. It was the first song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as a couple of songwriters.
I did multiple guitars and multiple vocal tracks, plus a bass line.
In the video you can see the "High Tide And Green Grass-Big Hits Vol. I" compilation and the double greatest hits CD "Forty Licks", which contain this song.

Thank you for watching!

  • Great version febo ...... I think the timing is a little off on the intro lick , it seems out of sync with the rhythm of the song ...... but really a cool rendition of the song .... good job !!!!!

  • Thank you very much for your nice and accurate comment!

Yes, I think that my guitar playing wasn't perfect at the beginning, too, but I got better during the song, where all the tracks were playing together...

Thank you for what you say about the final rendition!!

  • awesome job man i must say this is good.

  • I'm really happy to know that my video is bringing you nice memories! That album is one of my favourites, too!

Did you make your own record player? That's surprising!

    Bye!

  • Thank you for what you say, Ross!

I think that I "trained" my fingers playing the lead guitar part throughout the song and, at the end, I played it more naturally.

Thanks for appreciating the solo (some parts of it can be heard in the song but they're not so loud) and the double track vocals. Singing them was really fun!

  • This warms the heart. HighTide and Green Grass was the first album I ever bought. I played it to death on my homemade record player. One of my many sins.

  • really fine job Fed

...the lead guitar started out a little stiff, but i noticed it got better through the song.

Nice solo too and double track vocals.
