The Uvf don't need a reason to attack Catholics. It's what they have always done. Since 1996 they killed no more than 20 republican paramilitaries. They killed nearly double the amount of loyalist paramilitaries. That's the level of incompetence that you are dealing with. They have no mandate or political representation.
