@muldrowe really? You truly are a pilot, okay bud, when performing a chandelle in a typical constant speed propeller aircraft with a northwesterly wind, when should you end the maneuver? If youre are a real pilot that is such a simple question to answer, and you cannot find it anywhere on the internet, I wan the answer not a definition of a chandelle, if you even know what it is, with that response you clearly are not a pilot and have not one clue of light augmentation, and position lighting...

@muldrowe if the plain is with the nose of the plain pointed to you (so he flies straight ahead in your direction) you dont see any movement of the plain until the plain is close enough... here in Holland I see sometimes (depending from the wind direction) airplains from airport zestienhoven nearby Rotterdam. I often see a "star" just standing still for a minute or so, and than *floep* it begins to move and it becomes a airplain:P
