I was in the building next door with my boyfriend. He was originally signed up for that class but I talked him into taking the class I had. We got out early and were waiting for the bus. We saw people running, and then a kid said there was a shooting. I'll never forget that terrifying walk/run back to my dorm...praying there wasn't another shooter around the corner.

Wow, gun ban in colleges really works. Maybe one day we can ban guns everywhere, see how well that goes, see if no violent criminal gets a gun illegally and commits murder on innocent law-abiding citizens.

Ha... If she had a gun on her, she could pull it out and shoot him BEFORE he overpowered him. Even if it wasn't loaded - even pointing the gun at him would definitely scare him off. You can't just say "well it's not likely... blah blah" the fact is, it keeps you safe-ER. There is absolutely NO downside to conceal-and-carry. It's out RIGHT. Saying that it's unlikely that she could pull it out while being attacked is no excuse whatsoever.

The fact is, putittogether is right. If just ONE student had a gun, we WOULDN'T be talking about this as a mass murder. Guns are equalizers. They protect everyone and everyone has the right to have one. Chrisok - you're just an idiot... period.

i take offence to the liberal comment btw. its an easy thing to debate, could an old woman who is in the process of being attacked really pull a gun out of a drawer, load/cock it aim and accuratly hit the large man charging her? I would live to see it.

it took the police minutes. he didn't shoot EVERYONE in 2 seconds. he kept shooting. if just ONE student had a gun, he could've saved a lot of lives.

Without the second amendment, you can't protect the first, third, fourth, fifth... and so on.

it's not even just in your opinion - statistically in gun free zones, crime rates are way higher than zones where the constitution is in effect (2nd amendment, people!).
