SSgt Tim Chambers giving a speech in Little Rock Arkansas about why I did this which started 8 years ago (the salute). I gave this speech prior to the Memorial Day before last on my way across country where I honored families that lost their loved ones and Vets, along with concerned citizens and conducted name readings.......... Sorry not the best quality but i do have it bright as day on my computer just need to figure out how to edit it.

  • Yes I do honor those that took a stand and fought in combat that ensured we are speaking one language and have the freedoms we have today. I do agree with you that we have allot of work ahead of us when it comes to our government. Your Army is allot bigger than the enemy we speak of. The marching orders come straight from one of the most sacred documents of our Nation. The Declaration of Independence. Have a great day and thank you for your Service, Warrior. :)

I didn't dodge the War, I was challenged with some issues, and in a legal mos that did not have many opportunities as well as I was not likedin the community because of my volunteerism which started well before the war started. My only intensity was the Pentagon on 9/11 I spent three days crawling through the rubble finding bodies. I was motivated since I was a kid. I do not know what else I can do. I am not tyring to justify, for the guilt will always be a part of me

  • Thank you! From a ex-Navy sailor. I didn't give the ultimate sacrifice but I served. We serve our country our flag we don't serve in individual branches, we're all in this together. All branches are interconnected as a representation of our country and flag. I get really upset when I see postings from people that diss our military. They don't ask for the wars but by golly they go serve in them and they deserve respect all of you do. Kudos!

    Semper Fi!

  • @blueagate Anchors Aweigh Shipmate. Amen to your words, this Country will not fall from outside its boundaries but from within if we do not come together and continue to teach our youth, and press upon the ownership and what it takes to hold true our Values, and freedoms. Every day citizens can reach out to another and assist them, and stand proud and tall with them. We cannot forget the history of the greatest nation in the world. It came with a price, we never forget the sacrifice ever..

  • jesus christ this was filmed with a toothpick.

  • You Sir are nothing less then Amazing!! The first time I saw a video of you at Rolling Thunder came at the perfect time. At that time my Uncle's health was failing, we all honestly thought we were going to lose him. You see My Uncle is/has been many things, a Merchant Marine, a Biker, and a Marine. He's the one who taught me at a young age to always respect and thank Military as well as their families. With that said, Thank you and your family for serving. You'll always have a place in my heart.

  • Always Faithful... Ssgt Tim Chambers, you define Semper Fi. Thank you for all you've done, and all you do. God bless you. -Wendy, Patriot Guard Rider-Texas

  • Thanks so much for this salute. You make me feel so proud to have been part of the USAF for 20 years. I have actually been told I was wasting my time and that of the men I served with because I am a woman, but I know that is not true. Know that when you are standing there at Rolling Thunder every year, my spirit is there with you. It is my hope that one day my body will be there too. You are in my heart always.

  • Semper Fi, Staff. Another SSgt here that appreciates what you did.

  • OORAH SSGT you motivate us Marines so don't let anyone to tell you anything else. LCpl Tinsley.

  • SSGTCHAMBERS, I am not a Veteran, nor am I in the military, I am a proud American. Unfortunately, I passed at the chance to serve my country when I was younger, and now I am too old. However, I do try to keep our brave fighting men and women safe from harm by building one of the best military vehicles out there. I hope to see you next year in D.C. Thank you for your dedication and service, both to our great nation and our past and present Veterans!
