Samsung Galaxy Xcover GT-S5690 Underwater Testing (Youtube Streaming & Video Recording)

Just out of pure boredom I decided to show you that the phone indeed is waterproof and completely functional underwater. Total time submerged (roughly) 5-6 minutes.

Heitikkö tuon suoraan paketista vai tukitko jotain reikiä mitä samsungin ohjeessa sanottiin? Itellä samanlainen, mutta en kehtaa suoraan koittaa :D

@sikajee5 Ihan 'suoraan paketista'. Kyllä tuo tuntuu kestävän luvatulla tavalla vettä vaikka virrat on päällä kunhan nuo portit, USB/Headphone, ja takakansi on varmasti kunnolla laitettu kiinni. :)

Haha awesome. One question though, how is the screen preforming outdoors?

@hellsjester31 I haven't really had the chance to test it in truly cold circumstances because the winter hasn't really begun in Finland yet. But I've used it for few weeks now and at least around -5ºC it has been working as in room temperature, without gloves of course.

@Taupila I ment the brightness of the screen for outside. I figured that the screen would work when it is not wet ;)

@hellsjester31 Ah my bad, well granted the screen isn't as crystal clear and bright as the AMOLED (or whatever they're called) but it's very clear even outside in bright daylight. And if my screen seems a bit dark it's 'cause it's running at approx 35% of the available brightness in order to save battery. :) I'd say it's one of the best phones for the price.

There is no front facing camera.

i think (not quite sure) the reason, wifi and the phone aren't working underwater is because radiowaves have other wavenlenghts when traveling through materia

because of this the antenna isn't able to receive anything anymore
