"If your child was permited to carry a gun to college to protect themselves, would you let them?"

Even in the first paragraph of this story, the interviewer gets the facts all wrong. In order to get a CCW permit in nearly all states, you have to be 21. These are not "kids" under parental supervision. They are adults who are trained and qualified to carry and use weapons for self-protection.

A problem for these antigun nuts is that our MILITARY employs 18-22 year olds, trains and allows them to USE guns and last I heard they werent shooting each other!

And its a complete joke to say that guns dont stop criminals.

I guess we need to inform our COPS to stop using their guns against criminals.

These nuts who dont think guns are the answer are the ones saying to call the cops who show up with WHAT?

The ONLY difference between citizens and cops with guns is a UNIFORM !

You know, if some one is ganna kill a teacher because they got a D isnt ganna care if they can carry on campus they are just ganna do it! I get so tired of people who act like if you carry a gun you are right off the bat, Crazy, Angery, and Psychotic people. People do not understand, guns dont kill PEOPLE KILL! It takes a person to pull htat trigger. You can kill some one with a knife or car just as easy as with a gun.

I get so mad when I see how people make guns look soo bad when they are not the problum. Its the person with the gun thats bad. A gun is A tool, it takes a PERSON to pull that trigger. You can Kill a person with a knife or even a car for that matter just as easy. Guns are not bad PEOPLE are bad!

"If your CHILD....would you ALLOW" The media and anti gun people keep trying to make it look like people who want to legally carry on the college campus are kids. They're not; they're adults. MOREOVER, they're adults who have already been "approved" by the government as being able to safely handle a gun and know the laws about it. It's just plain stupid to say that people are required to get a permit to carry, but are somehow suddenly imature as soon as they step on campus

One college student in another video claims "Why should I have to worry about my safty?"

Those are the words of an ignoramus... though we have 911, police, SWAT etc, it's still the PRIMARY responsibility of the victim to STAY ALIVE... and a legally owned firearm certainly increases the chances!!!

Obviously, the best thing would be to STAY OUT OF such situations, but this is not always possible.
