Always loved this song from the first time I saw "Carousel" movie version with Shirley Jones. The original lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II & music by Richard Rodgers were written for their Broadway show "Carousel."

I love this song, this is our alma mater song, when I graduated high school last 1968 at candelaria Institute, in my town of Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte Philippines. A very powerful song full of encouragement to do the best you can be your self, to achieve something to be proud of , to follow your dreams to where ever it leads you, in God's way. Lyrics is very meaninful, who ever wrote this song I salute you. An inspirational song to me and perhaps to everybody.
