2009 Toyota/SaveMart 350

Howdy y'all! Your favorite Jughead is back but with a new kind of video to show. Of course most of you who subscribed to me expect to see something like Mario Kart Wii, but this time you're in for something slightly different. It's still racing, but now it's real racing! This is NASCAR, my sport of passion! If you knew about Richard Petty from my Mii, Rich Petty, then maybe you already figured that out.

Hey hey hey! I'm back at Infineon Raceway for the 2009 NASCAR race there. Having gone in 2005 and 2007, this made a pattern of going to the track every odd year since '05. This race was better than the last one because the teams had a better handle on the new car and there was a green-white-checkered finish. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a two-lap mad dash to finish and at a bump-n-bang track like this, they were all over each other! I had my camera ready to capture all of that. For your convenience, I've listed the major moments of interest here...

0:40 - Close-up of #24 Jeff Gordon
1:08 - First lap
5:37 - Close-up of #24 Jeff Gordon
6:57 - Close-up of #31 Jeff Burton
8:01 - Close-up of #31 Jeff Burton
8:11 - Close-up of #09 Ron Fellows
9:00 - Close-up of #08 Boris Said
9:38 - #02 Brandon Ash spins out
10:27 - Close-up of #17 Matt Kenseth damage
13:58 - #16 Greg Biffle goes off track
15:28 - #02 Brandon Ash hits the wall
16:18 - #6 David Ragan goes off track
16:54 - #18 Kyle Busch spins out
17:37 - Close-up of #47 Marcos Ambrose
18:01 - #6 David Ragan, #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr., #08 Boris Said spin out
20:01 - #87 Scott Speed spins out
20:59 - Green-white-checkered finish restart
21:50 - #7 Robby Gordon goes off track
22:26 - Final lap

For those of you who really don't care about NASCAR and just want me to resume my Brawl and MKW uploads, tune back in a little less than a week. I want to get my NASCAR posts up first.

  • Ha! Don't worry. I'm just taking a short break from the regular videos.

  • Woopsies. Commented on my sister's channel instead of mine. Forgive me! (below)

  • I think I did a better job at capturing the action in '11, but the race itself was worse because of lack of grip.

  • @Jughead870 :All righty then enjoy making nascar vids.

  • I really like these :D

  • Can you tell me your FC in Mario kart Wii or you want to email me it

  • Every time I've gone to Infineon except for this year 2011, Tony Stewart was the fan favorite. And this 2009 footage at the end is the best I've ever captured. Take that, TNT!

  • Boy, am I glad you zoomed in on Gordon in the beginning. Yeah, this race was a while ago, huh? Poor Brandon Ash spinning off, but it was very funny, like Michaele said, that Busch spinned off and the audience cheered. "Trouble comming down the hill!" followed by "WOO!"

Congrats to Kahne to winning! Awesome video, the highlights were very awesome. Each NASCAR video of yours is better than the last one. I wonder what's in store for the '11 race!

  • Actually, I've always liked the number 87. It's just a coincidence that one of my favorites drives number 87 now.
