Nebula, interactive and educational material for play by NYOYN

The Nebula also can be used for educational activities. This video shows how to play the game Ball. The player has to catch as many balls possible. The color with the highest score wins!

Nebula is an interactive wall that reacts to touch by means of light. As soon as the wall is touched, it lights up. Different light effects can be created, such as drawings or points of light coming towards the user like little fireflies. Users can play a variety of (educational) games, e.g. recognising or drawing shapes, numbers and letters. Topographical/geographical applications (e.g. recognising shapes of countries) and even applications aimed at developing motor skills (e.g. catching balls) are also part of the possibilities of this interactive game concept.

The extraordinary thing about Nebula is that it is fully integrated in its surroundings. The ceiling, the floor and the walls constitute its borders or limits. As soon as the lights extinguish, Nebula looks just like any other normal wall. Despite its size this interactive wall can be integrated in any existing space in a very unobtrusive way. The sheer size of the wall entices children to use the space around them and run, jump, crawl...

Nebula also scores high on the sensory scale. The outer layer of the interactive wall is made of translucent canvas, which can be replaced quite easily. This canvas can be printed with your organisation's logo or it can be made to look like the surrounding area, allowing it to blend in even better.
