A.V. Club Inventory: Blockbuster Knockoffs

The Onion's pop-culture-focused sister publication, The A.V. Club, is debuting a new weekly video series called "Inventory," based on its popular lists of the same name.

Because pictures are worth tens of thousands of words (when you factor in inflation), The A.V. Club has decided to dip our toes further into the video world with Inventory: The Video Series. "Snakes on a Plane" was pretty much a parody of the knock off movie genre but they still knocked it off any way. XD LMAO

Piranha was not a knockoff. It was a parody. A fairly straight-faced parody, but it is a parody.

And Supergirl was a spinoff. Slightly different concept.

Jeez the guy with the glasses cannot talk like a normal person. One second he's talking loud enough, and the other second you can barely hear him. The other guys are speaking correctly, at a constant volume.
