@bommmmmmmm You got it in a nutshell mate. Im a similar age (35) and Ive listened to this album all my life (thanks Mam n Dad!), and still do. I never get sick of it. ELOs music will never die like all masterpieces. A true work of timeless art and genius! Need we say more!?

@bassmanjoe Good! Its stuff like this that makes ELO...well...ELO! And since my last post saying I thought the beginning of this sounded like the end of mr blue sky, I figured out that its actually the end of mr blue reversed. Just like a part in Nightrider reversed is the cool String thing in the middle of evil woman. There are many others as well. This kind of stuff (IMO) is what makes me like ELO so much. So full of surprises... Well done, ELO!

People should see ELnO in Minneapolis, they Keep Jeff alive in the states, thier show is as close to Classic ELO as you will ever get again in this life.....Long Live ELO!

In 1977 i was 6. My fav Albums were Abba ' the album' and Elo's 'Out of the blue'. In 1986 i was 15 and spotty. My fav albums were Aha latest and 'out of the blue' By 1995 i was 24 and trendy. My best albums that year was Blur's 'Great escape' and 'out of the blue'. Today im 37 and older. I listen to stuff from the hoosiers to muse - and yep, I still listen just as much to 'out of the blue'. That's what happens when someone creates a true masterpiece. It's timeless. And it always will be.
