  • I don't think people in Hanoi or HCMC making 3 USD / day

  • @KatiushaVN4 well i vietnamese friends who work 14 ,15 hour days at there shops and get paid 65,000 vnd a day which is about 3.25 us but im glad to hear that you dont think so , i know so

  • @brandonzahn

Well, I also live in Vietnam, and I'm Vietnamese. I make roughly 900 USD/ month and hardly survive. I don't have to pay for my rent because I have a house in district 1. My friends make 1,500 ~ 2,000 USD a month. There is 2 of my friend earning more than 8,000 USD a month because they have their own business. Since you live in HCMC or Hanoi, you should know that the living cost there for certain items are even more expensive than in U.S.A such as meat (I've been to U.S.A before)

  • @KatiushaVN4 and meat is only more expensive if your dumb enough to buy it in a supermarket if your vietnamese maybe you should try living like a vietnamese maybe life wont be so hard for you

  • @KatiushaVN4 i didnt say everyone makes that little i know there are rich people here too but guess what the majority of people dont make more than 3 or 4 dollars a day go ask a construction labourer or a waitress what she makes or the people selling post cards and sunglasses. or anyone working at the markets or selling fruit or police men just because you and your friends make a lot of money, doesnt mean everyone does. dont be ignorant.

  • @brandonzahn cops make a lot over there and they are considered royalty to most people. They bribe like no other.

  • Agreed: Asiana stewardesses are really hot! They must be pretty sexist with the hiring process, mind you

  • "I have also been here for about a year now and have only had one run in. No helmet=200,000VND"

LOL you don't care if you live or die... I'd be less concerned about a fine and more concerned about getting my head split open but I guess that's just me...

  • agree, foreigner makes money much easy over VN by teaching English

  • Police: "Pull Over"

Me: "I don't speak Vietnamese. But I hear Mr. Hamilton/Mr. Jackson does."

    Police: "Go."

  • @brandonzahn you don't need to reply to KatiushaVN4. I don't know what her purpose to claim to be Vietnamese, but obviously she is Chinese.

  • Very informational video, right on the money. Hey Grace maybe you need to use a "Douche". Just because he lists a few common items beer, smokes, milk, bread, and coke you think this is problem. He is right on about the police, I have also been here for about a year now and have only had one run in. No helmet=200,000VND. I can't speak enough to ask the cops to give me a ticket so I just paid it and left.

  • @veenaga71 i totally agree with you.And i think that noone is perfect, no country is perfect,
