this video is by no means an advertisement or anything and the ideas/ opinions are my own personal ones so don't take anything too seriously. This is just my personal review of it.

  • thanks for the review; just bought a near-new GT-225 Echo 'curved' at a pawn shop; seems to run very good. big difference is mine was equipped with a different head that uses short line inserts .080. seems like the bump head with more line is better when working on large areas?

  • @79pretzel I think thats a fair assumption. I do a lot of work with it and its nice to not always have to stop and reload the string. the spool of line on this trimmer actually last a fair amount of time, depending on what kind of work you are doing of course.

  • what is the difference between SRM-225 vs. SRM-225I ?

  • @zcarenow ya know... I have no clue... lol. I just bough this trimmer because I did just enough research to know it was a decent brand and so far (third season in with moderate to heave use) it is preforming just fine, has not given me any trouble at all... the 225I is the next level up and the only difference I see (on echo's web page) is that the pull starting system reduces the effort needed to start the trimmer by "75%" vs. "30%" on the basic 225.... outside of that, I don not know, sorry

  • Great review ...Thanks ...as mentioned before , would have been nice if u would have started it !

  • @LOVELIFE54 I have a start up video now if your interested

  • I use this model with the pivo trim! works awesome!

  • Hi.. I just bought one off EBAY and it shows up without the "Hood' down where the line is.. you know where you can cut the line and the hood that shields from debri.. apparantly the prior owner ran without it, but... .does that make sense to you>

  • 2:58 BEST QUOTE EVER!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for your review. I just bought the same one yesterday and have yet to crank it up but wanted to make sure I was doing it right. The manual is a bit tedious for an Alabama boy like myself but the whole time I was watching I'm thinking about my cousins in Ohio and how much your voice sounds like them. Its like my cousin Ben, a sheet metal craftsmen, is trying to sell me on this weedeater.
