@TheLegendaryJai Then prove me wrong. I've watched the anime at least 7 times and have the box set. I watch it at least every two years. I know I'm not wrong. The only other time he says anything about his name is the episode Wolfwood dies. He asks him what his name is and he said his name is irrelevant. Which is not a name, it means that it isn't important.

@UnrulyCitizens Trigun's dub isn't bad at all: whether it's better than the japanese is a matter of personal preference, but the english VA's do a good job. Plus, i feel that Trigun makes more sense in English, given that the characters are SUPPOSED to be speaking english: there's a scene where Vash says he can't understand japanese, which obviously makes fuck-all sense in the original japanese.
