(Sacramento) -- During a recent hearing of the Select Committee on Ports Assemblymember Julia Brownley (D-Santa Monica) called for prompt action on 62 California transportation projects currently mired in bureaucracy that could create good jobs, especially for the middle class. Brownley believes California needs to focus on a structure that can get these projects off the blueprints and into active construction. She has worked with her colleagues in the Legislature to pass a long list of bills to help foster and expedite the creation of jobs that can support families.
