I've been there Leinie and I feel for you man. I just want to encourage you to hang in there, be patient, seek God. Easy for me to say huh? But you know this. You also know that things happen not when we want it to, but in God's time.

Again, easy for me to say. Truth is, porn addictions are not about whether someone is having sex or not, it's just something that's filling some type of void or empty space.

No matter what the naysayers say, "Porn" is a terrible mistress. "She" has destroyed many, be they persons, families, relationships, careers, etc, "she's" a heartless killer. If you haven't come across "her", stay as far away from "her" as you can.

Actually, my friend Jim, was attracted to men from the time he was 13 and lived the homosexual lifestyle into his 30s. He became a Christian, left the homosexual life, and is now married and has children. He has no hate or condmnation for homosexuals, neither do I. But he is a living testimony to the lie that there is no choice and that we are what we are "programmed" to be. Oh...and not every Christian is white, and we are not all republicans either. BTW....God loves you. :)

if porn is inherently bad because a few people have been unable to control their addiction to it, then wine is inherently bad because some people are alcoholics.

Pornography doesn't have a very selective process. If you toy with it, you are susceptible to its grasp. It toys with intimacy. There's a much better way!

You know Youtube is great. I've enjoyed it immensely the last 3 to 4 years with watching live all kinds of music and classic lines from great movies. The down side is that I know there are alot of guys who can control themselves by not watching porn but do indulge in all the "softer" filth that you can view and masturbate to on this still new media. Please pray for each other to stay away from the stuff that entraps us on this.
