  • its a shame that jay-z, will smith can see the vision fela had and recreate that on broadway before we can think about it...did they even pay any royalties to fela's estate? does fela even have an estate?

im just happy they did a phenomenal work in portraying fela for what he was but when we go learn something? dem don chop our oil finish, now dem wan chop our entertainment. such an irony this is exactly what fela talked about. nna na wah oh.

Did you listen to everything that he said? He wasn't being disrespectful to Fela. He didn't mean Fela was literally shipped to an island.

  • Hi, excuse me Mr bill T. Jones, FELA d african legend was not shipped 2 an island. He was a born legend, from Nigeria,so be sure of was u say bcos we know d late legend saw this present future b/4 this time. Please don't bring my country and my only legend down thank u. But d show must go on "a**hole".

  • THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!!!! I saw it twice and I still would pay again to go back for more. A MUST see for all of us to know and bridge the diaspora. We are all one people...remember that. Very accurate in terms of culture, spirituality, and symbolization. Much respect to all involved...this is what we need on broadway....our roots.

  • thanks for bringing him back. our government killed him. Fela was our vioce.

  • @seun0203 I know what you mean!!!
