America: The Biblical Prophecy of Nuclear War! Part 1/2 The Bible contains only one specific reference to the United States. This is it.

  • I agree that America looks as if it is going to war and is morally bankrupt. However, it takes a certain degree of 'interpretation' to conclude that Ezekiel was talking about entities that didn't exist 2,500 years ago. A long bow to draw, to say the least!

  • @Seemorerocks97 Well, "Magog" is a sure match. It's the term used in Amos 7:1 in the Septuagent for Russia. And which "irreverent distant coastland" would they exchange missles with? The whole thing occurs right after Israel's second return to the land. It's the USA. We have a special obligation to God because of our history. We are the ones mentioned in Ezekiel, I believe it will be moments after the rapture, just like Lot escaping Sodom. Of course I could be wrong, but then what else is it?

  • @DefconWarningSystem Yes, on my channel, 95% of all comments are attacks, so I'm afraid that's the default setting with me? I also believe that the Lot narrative (exiting Sodom) is a type of the rapture of the church - just before the Ez. 39:6 event. Could be wrong of course, but everything else in Genesis foreshadows something!

  • @alyosha24601 Oh, and please don't read any of that as an attack or condescending or anything like that. YouTube provides so little comment space that you have to kind of "get to the point" quickly or you run out of space.

  • @alyosha24601 I never said Ez 38:12 was about animals. Clearly it is in reference to nations/kingdoms/adversaries. But to equate the UK with this particular use of "young lions" is without justification. In fact, your argument would be stronger if you said the passage was talking about Iran, as the lion has been associated with Persian kings for quite some time.

In the end, you have to read the passage was it was intended for the reader, not as what we hope it will say.

  • @alyosha24601 I never said the calculations were coincidence. I said they were based on assumptions, which render the calculations invalid.

Nothing in Ez 39:6 states where the fire will come from, other than God. Certainly God can use people or nations to do his will. But nothing in the passage makes even an attempt to identify who may be an accomplice in this, certainly not the USA. I'm not saying the USA won't be it. I am saying there is no Biblical basis to say so.

  • @DefconWarningSystem As for Ez. 38:12; this passage is not talking about animals but rather nations. Tarshish is even mentioned specifically. The English speaking world is the best interpretation. I understand, you don't want to see it, but it's there. It's just as well. America isn't what it used to be; unfortunately, we have become enemies of God.

  • @DefconWarningSystem Both calculations, the founding of Israel and the seizure of Jerusalem, work out to the exact day. You be the one to call that coincidence, I can't. Ezekiel 39:6: "And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD." The Hebrew word refers to a distant island or continent. Why wasn't Tarshish used? Because the USA is further. And who else do the Russians train to attack every year? A nuclear exchange is near.

  • @DefconWarningSystem I've sen it myself. The math is extraordinary. Glad to hear it's just a coincidence though.

  • @alyosha24601 God it not the author of confusion. If only one person "finds" something in the Bible, that usually means it wasn't there in the first place.
