http://www.pbs.org/frontline/hugochavez/ "The Hugo Chavez Show" coming Tuesday, November 25 to PBS (check local listings).

FRONTLINE looks at Venezuela's controversial and outspoken president Hugo Chavez and the revolution he claims is turning his country into an anti-capitalist beacon for Latin America and the world. Through the lens of his unique weekly program "Al? Presidente" and the eyes of the Venezuelans who know him well, FRONTLINE producer Ofra Bikel digs below the surface of his presidency and his personality to try to understand the mercurial leader.

FRONTLINE will produce a Spanish-language audio track of "The Hugo Chavez Show." Viewers can access the Spanish version through the SAP button on their TV remote control. The English and Spanish version will also be available online at http://www.pbs.org/frontline/hugochavez beginning on Wednesday, November 19.

  • Don't give any of your money to PBS, they get enough from the oil companies. Real News is much better.

  • The semi-official U.S. government propaganda agency, PBS shows its true, ugly face.

PBS is everything that it falsely accuses Pres. Hugo Chavez of being.

1000 to 1 odds that PBS will conveniently omit the coup against the democratically elected Pres. Chavez which the US tried to carry out to overrule the people of Venezuela.

It's time to defund the clumsy rewriter of US gov. press releases, PBS!

PBS fans-- cut out the middle man, go directly to U.S. gov. p. r.

  • All you have to know about this crap is that it was re-broadcasted on Globovision, the Venezuelan equivalent of Fox News. Actually, almost ALL of Venezuela's private media is like Fox News.

  • This program caricatured Chavez and simplified the triumphs that he has in the last decade while in power through democratic means. It ignored the racial issues confronting Latin American nations and the fact that the white oligarchy has had the power since the times of Bolivar. Chavez represents the majority of mulattos that live in that nation.

  • I'm really sick of people that never had a foot in Venezuela and that maybe dont even know in wich continent we are, defending so much Hugo Chavez, just because he said a few words to the other idiot GWBush. Imagine not having a supermarket as you know in US, where you can not find milk, or imagine leaving in a country were a live worth less than a Celullar phone or a pairs of shoes,He has the opportunity of establishing a better country, but instead he decided to destroy it,he is not Venezuelan

  • i rather freedom instead of a dictator like a president... Chavez out of Venezuela... Freedom is First!

  • maybe, but Chavez is the classic dictator...nothing else.

  • PBS = Petroleum Broadcasting Service

beware of the propaganda, they are funded by Exxon-Mobil and Chevron-Texaco, the very multinationals that want to dominate Venezuela's rich resources.
